Timemore U French Coffee Press reimagines the classic plunger in an insulated, durable shell that pours clean and keeps grit at bay - equally at home brewing coffee or tea.

High-Density Dual Mesh Filtration: A 0.35 mm stainless-steel main screen plus secondary spout filtration (double-mesh design) trap fines and deliver a smoother, clearer cup with far less sludge.
Heat-Shielded, Cool-Touch Body: Thick borosilicate glass is wrapped in an insulating sleeve (PP/silicone/stainless support) that helps retain brew temperature while keeping hands comfortable and protected.
Smooth, No-Drip V-Spout: The precision V-shaped pour lip channels an even stream and resists dribbling, so your coffee lands in the mug - not on the counter.
Coffee & Tea Versatility: Designed for dual use; internal volume marks (≈300 ml & 450 ml) simplify dosing for different beverages and batch sizes.
Compact 450 ml Capacity: Brews about 15 oz- ideal for one big mug or two small cups and its ~18 cm × 8.5 cm footprint tucks easily into home, office, or travel setups.
Easy Disassembly & Cleaning: Removable glass carafe and food-grade silicone plunger seal come apart quickly for rinsing; reassembly is smooth and secure for the next brew.

Great for camping

I just took it on its first camping trip. It was awesome to have French press first thing in the morning. The inner lining is glass but it’s protected by an outer plastic shell, and I can take extra care to keep it from breaking. The glass keeps the water warmer than the all plastic one I tried previously. I love it. And it keeps nearly all of the grit off my coffee even with no paper filter.

Love the design of this which is much more modern than every other French press pot I seemed to see out there. Coffee stays surprisingly hot with the plastic sleeve & this is good for 2 coffees for me. Easy to use & so far has been making good coffee. Easy to clean to.

Good press with room for improvement

Easy to use and clean. But the bottom is Not completely flat, allowing it to rock side to side while filling it with water. Be sure to steady it while filling with water. Way too much "Sludge" in the bottom of the cup, it really needs a better filter than the single strainer, I use a filter basket, on top of my mug, from an old 5 cup drip coffee maker (with paper filter) to "finish" the cup .The extra step makes a big difference for me.

A new design on a classic

The Timemore French press looks great. It matches the aesthetic of the rest of the modern Timemore coffee pieces. The handless design on a glass carafe is interesting. The outer shell gets warm with just under boiling water in it but never any where near too hot. The shell provides some protection for the borosilicate carafe but the lines in the shell make it easy to see what is happening. That is one of my complaints with non-translucent French presses. I do wish the labelling was a little better and it had mL measurements. It would take a little less work and most recipes have water go in first, then coffee. The press is rubber and plastic rather than the traditional metal screens. There was very little fines that passed though into the cup thanks to a fairly accurate grinder (also Timemore). The plunger was easy to push down and should be with a course grind for espresso. The screen on the Timemore is easier to clean than a traditional metal screen and it takes lot less work to wash our any trapped coffee because there is no where for coffee grounds to get stuck. The whole thing comes apart very easily and is easy to clean. As an alternative French press that has the benefits of a glass carafe while being more travel/camping friends, the Timemore French press does a great job. It is priced very reasonably and the design is nice! Recommended!

It is a French press

I was pleased with the quality of construction. As of this date I've had no issues with it and it presses coffee just fine.
