Chestnut C3S PRO manual coffee grinder is the latest refinement of Timemore’s portable “C-series” pairing a rugged all-metal body with the new 38 mm S2C 660 burr set for café-level consistency anywhere you brew.
Built to Last: An aluminium-alloy unibody, stainless-steel driveshaft, and HRC 55-58 S2C burrs shrug off corrosion and daily knocks, with zero plastic inside to fatigue or warp over time.
Pro-Grade Burrs: Timemore’s 5-axis-machined “Spike-to-Cut” geometry first pre-cracks the bean, then shears it cleanly—delivering faster grinding, fewer fines, and noticeably sweeter cups.
Smooth & Stable Grinding: Dual radial bearings keep the driveshaft perfectly centred, while a silicone pad on the base and a rigid folding handle cancel vibration for effortless, one-hand milling.
Dial-In Any Brew: A stepless, 36-click adjustment ring covers everything from espresso-fine to French-press-coarse; a spring-locked inner burr preserves your setting brew after brew.
Quick, Tool-Free Cleaning: Unscrew the magnetic grounds bin and brush the burrs—no loose screws, springs, or static-cling chaff to wrestle with.

compact easy to use coffee grinder. Was easy to set the ground required for my espresso with helpful advice and instructions supplied. Comes with a handy brush to clean the burrs and a cloth bag to carry it in. very pleasing to the eye with an almost elegant look to it.My only down side if there has to be one, is that it takes a bit of effort to grind the beans.Something I think that will get easier for me, as I become more adept at using the device.
Can't fault it. Well made, easy to use, grinds beautifully and easily. Very very glad I bought it.7 grinds very fine indeed. Have gone to 20 for a cafettiere level grind. Works for me anyway.Nice heavy metal feel, cleaning brush is useful. Holds exactly the right amount of beans (2 scoops). Very glad I bought it and finally I have a manual coffee mill!
Honestly, I had a lot of immediate concern when looking for a portable grinder, as my general conception of hand grinders has always been that they're poor quality, and produce a bad grind. The C3 absolutely changed my opinion on this. The consistency of the grinds that the C3 produces are very high quality, and the range of size that it can produce is brilliant. I've thoroughly enjoyed using it when on the go and even use it at home from time to time despite having a Baratza Encore in my flat. Build quality is great and the provided cleaning brush makes it really easy to get any small pieces out of the burrs
Well made bit of kit
To preface this review, I am using this for pour overs and Aero Press only, not espresso.Build quality is superb and the grinder itself has a nice premium weight to it.Grinder is very easy to use, clean and adjust.Have knocked off a star as the step difference can be slightly too large, however I have not had too big an issue with this. The grind size is incredibly consistent and will still brew an amazing cup of coffee. Great value for money and I see myself using this until it breaks.
