Chestnut C3 ESP PRO manual coffee grinder is Timemore’s espresso‑focused flagship, marrying a rugged all‑metal body with micrometric 30‑click tuning for bar‑level shots anywhere you brew.
Built for Espresso: The 38 mm S2C 660 stainless‑steel burrs “Spike‑To‑Cut” the bean, producing faster grind times, tighter particle distribution, and syrupy crema.
Micrometric Control: It's ESP dial jumps from 12 to 30 clicks per rotation - each step just 23 µm, giving you three times finer adjustment than the standard C3 for flawless puck flow.
All‑Metal Endurance: A CNC‑milled aluminium unibody, stainless driveshaft, and HRC‑58 burrs shrug off daily knocks; there’s zero plastic inside to warp or crack.
Smooth & Stable Grinding: Dual radial bearings center the shaft, while a ball‑bearing folding handle and silicone‑padded base damp vibration for quiet, one‑hand milling.
Quick, Tool‑Free Cleaning: Unscrew the grounds bin and brush the burrs - no loose screws, clips, or static‑clinging chaff to wrestle with.

This has been an excellent addition to my coffee making routine. In the hand it feels well made, solid but without being too heavy and cumbersome. The fold away handle is very useful and the magnetic sleeve to secure it when grinding is very satisfying. The clicks and and number settings make the grind size very easy to set and hone in. The grind is very consistent and I have found it very easy to dial in when using for Pour Over, Aeropress, Cafetiere and for Cold Brew. After using it for a few weeks the burrs really settled down after breaking in and the level of effort to operate is relatively minimal, my three year old quite enjoys turning it for me and is able to do so.It is quite easy to strip this down and clean it although the first two times I did need to check the instructions for reassembly due to the number of parts. If you combine this with a good RDT system you will have very little in the way of grounds being retained as well.I have used and owned other hand grinders and this is significantly better by far, quieter, more consistent with better overall functionality.
My concern was how much effort was needed to grind the coffee beans. No need to worry it is easy. A fantastic piece of kit. Has taken my coffee experience to another level.
Expensive but it's really well built. Easy to dial in espresso fine with quick conical burs. Great for travel/camping aswell.Just wish this model came with a luxury walnut handle.
Great piece of kit! Very solid build, efficient and consistent in grinding for espresso, which is our primary use. No issues so far!
Super, worked well and it is easy to handle
